RULES OF ACCEPTANCE: Please note our deadline (31st of March 2006) and age (17-21) which must be complied with. We also have to point out that we accept only candidates sponsored by the Lions Clubs International Association. Application forms must be signed by YEC and MD Chairperson. Without these requirements, no applications will be accepted. Please do not privately contact anybody from our MD, because you will receive only one answer for each request: ”PLEASE CONTACT THE YEC OR MD CHAIRPERSON IN YOUR COUNTRY”. Concerning the acceptance of all youth who want TO take part in Camps activities, we would like to inform all MD Chairperson of the following: please do not assign a Camp to your youth because we need to be free to select gender and age of participants.

July 14th – July 31st
Males and females; ages 17-21.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 8th -14th for European, departure from Italy on July 31st ;
July 8th – 14th and July 31st – August 6th for non European, departure from Italy on August 6th .
Outdoor sports and activities; visits to historical cities (Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, Siena, Pisa), museum, industries, seminars.

MULTIPLE DISTRICT - 108 – ITALY
CAMPO ITALIA - DISABLED YOUTH CAMP “LA PRATERIA 2006”
June 17th – July 29th
Males and females ; ages 18-26;
outdoor and indoor activities for disabled people with motor handicap and good communication skill, with the exception of disabled with intellectual and/or sensory handicap. The guide should be in preference young, friends, volunteers, or people working in the centre the disabled usually refer to. The presence of a brother, sister or parent when justified, could be helpful.

Youth Camp of the “ALPS and SEA 2006”
July 1st – July 16th
Males and females; ages 17-21; 22 participants.
Family hosting before the camp:
June 25th – 30th for European, departure from Italy on July 16th ;
June 25th – 30th and July 16th – 23rd for non European, departure from Italy on July 23rd .
Visits to historical cities (Venice, Rome, Florence, Genoa, Turin, Aosta), museum, sightseeing, learn about the region and local habits/customs.

Youth Camp “LORENZO BALDONI 2006”
July 8th – July 22nd
Males and females; ages 17-19.
Family hosting before the camp.

Youth Camp “VALTELLINA 2006”
July 1st – July 15th
Males and females; ages 17-21.
Family hosting before the camp
(June 24th – July 1st).
Excursion to the mountains; visit to historical sites, cultural activities;
trips to places of interest in Switzerland.

Youth Camp “THE LAKES 2006”
July 12th – July 22nd
Males and Females; age 18-22.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 2nd – 12th for European, departure from Italy on July 22nd ;
July 2nd – 12th and July 22nd – 30th for non European, departure from Italy on July 30th .
Cultural activities; sports; sightseeing; excursions to nearby lakes and cities including Milan, Rome, Florence, Venice. Meetings with local Lions and Leo.

Youth Camp “CASCINA ARCOBALENO 2006”
July 15th – July 29th
Males and females; ages 17-21.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 8th – 15th for European, departure from Italy on July 29th ;
July 8th – 15th and July 29th – August 5th for non European, departure from Italy on August 5th .
Visits to different cities in the area and not (Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome);
sports and social activities.
CAMP FEE: 200,00 Euro for excursion costs

Youth Camp “ALPE ADRIA 2000“
July 15th – July 30th
Males and females; ages 17-21.

University Youth Camp “EMILIA 2006”
July 21st – July 30th
Males and females; ages 17-21; 25 participants.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 14th -21st for European, departure from Italy on July 30th ;
July 7th – 21st for non European, departure from Italy on July 30th .
Sports, cultural events, visits to historical places; participants must have an interest in culture of Italy.

Youth Camp “AZZURRO 2006“
July 10th – July 24th
Females; ages 18-21; 15 participants.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 3rd -10th for European, departure from Italy on July 24th ;
June 25th – July 10th for non European, departure from Italy on July 24th .
Activities: making friend and contact with nature and the territory through guided tours
to historical and cultural sites; sport activities.

Youth Camp “APULIA 2006”
July 16th – July 24th
Males and females; ages 17-21; 15 participants.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 8th -15th for European, departure from Italy on July 24th ;

Learning local culture and lifestyle; area tours; sports and recreational activities.
Meetings with local Lions and Leo clubs.

Youth Camp “III CAMPO TOSCANA 2006”
July 15th – July 30th
Males (7) and females (8); ages 17-22; 15 participants;.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 8th -15th for European, departure from Italy on July 30th ;
July 1st – 15th for non European, departure from Italy on July 30th .
Tours and cultural activities (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena); sightseeing; sports; learn about the economic and social activities of Tuscany.
DISTRICT 108 - L – ITALY
Youth Camp “AMICITIA 2006”
July 13th – July 27th
Males and females; ages 18-21.
Family hosting before the camp:
July 6th – 13th in Sardinia Island.
Camp theme: Friendship in mutual loyalty and international understanding;
meetings, sightseeing, sports, cultural and recreation activities, good health and swimming ability;
Youth Camp activities: one week in Umbria and one week in Lazio with visit to places of interest..
DISTRICT - 108 – Ya - ITALY
Youth Camp “ VESUVIO 2006”
July 1st – July 15th
Male and females; ages 17-21.
Family hosting before the camp (June 24th – July 1st);
The Camp will be held in the region of Calabria; cultural activities; sightseeing; learn about the region.
DISTRICT - 108 – Yb - ITALY
Youth Camp “ TRINACRIA 2006”
July 2nd – July 9th
Males and females; ages 18-21.
Family hosting before the camp (25th June – 2nd July);
This is a travelling camp through the island and cities of Sicily:
museums, sightseeing, cultural activities.
