At
the moment my hatchery contains ± 5000 Liters of water.
In the upper level are the breeding pairs kept. These tanks are 50 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm. The tanks on the lower level are for the fry. The dimensions of the tanks are200 cm x 50 cm 5 60 cm. Every day the water is changed, about 10%. For the water changing I have plastic bins in which the water is being treated. The Breeding pairs are kept in water which has a pH of 5.5 and the conductivity is 200 - 300 microsiemens. |

fry is raised in tanks which are filled with tapwater, the pH is between
6.8 and 7.3.
All tanks are kept at a temperature of 28°C. Every tank has its own filter. This is don to prevent the outbreak of diceases |
