• Machine-embroidered in silver-gray thread, the socalled RZM-style;
• Hand-embroidered in aluminium-wire;
• Machine-woven in aluminium-wire, also called flatwire-weave;
• Machine-woven cuffbands, the BeVo-type.

I'm not going to go in much more detail concerning the styles of bands. There are some more types then the one mentioned above, but for more information about those bands, I strongly recommend reading Gordon Williamsons book "German Military Cuffbands" and Ulric of Englands book about cuffbands.
