Roy Springfield was born on the 6th of August, the Holiday known as Transfiguration. From earliest childhood his passion for Magic is grown, thanks to his meeting with Alan Donosco, someone as enthousiastic as he about magic.
On Sundays, young Roy was already giving small performances to entertain his fans, and creating a sensation at birthday parties, Christmas, and other family get-togethers.
Later, in secondary school, Roy surprised and amazed his friends in the playground, and favourably impressed his teachers with his different conjuring tricks.
His giftedness as a magician became more and more apparent.
The son of Emile and Mariette, the former a truck driver, today deceased, and the latter a cleaning lady, Roy continued his studies, obtaining diplomas as a machine tool mechanic and as a boilermaker-welder. Still thirsty for knowledge, Roy continued his training in industrial and building electricity, following additional classes to become competent in english.
Fascinated by the mysteries of Ancient Egypt, Roy enrolled in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Liège in the Oriental Languages section and studied Pharonic Egyptian for two years. His studies behind him, Roy worked in different mechanical engineering industries, but the hold of Magic on Roy was so strong, that he decided to create a store specialized in the selling of conjuring articles for both amateurs and professionals;
Success was immediate, the experience positive, and his priorities were put back into perspective. He left the store due to numerous calls for performances under other magical skyes.
