I am colorblind but I don't really care

Grass is gray, the sun is white and I feel fine

Sometimes I feel things that I just cannot say

I run away from sleeplessness, but it always wins
I bet you stay awake some nights too
I look at you and quickly look away again
Then I look back and see you watching me
How can this be changed?
I feel scared, I'm alone.

The friendly smiles, the sound of silence in your eyes
Make me want to feel things all again
But what I don't know yet, can't hurt my mind at all
So I sleep again but this time I know why.

But I like red so much more
