" EPTA (Europeans Piano Teachers Association) , was founded by Carola GRINDEA in London in 1978.
Actually 38 European countries are members of the association, EPTA-BELGIUM WALLONIE-BRUXELLES being part of them since 1990.
We all work for the same ideal of promoting the human and artistic values linked to musical activity and also dealing with all aspects of the art of piano playing and its pedagogy, from the very beginning to the mastery.
The activities of EPTA are numerous: conferences, competitions, masterclasses, seminars and international congresses on pedagogical themes or more specific subjects regarding the interpretation of the master pieces of piano literature.
Throughout the years, human relations, based on esteem and friendship, have been constantly developing between musicians of all countries,helping also to better serve the music! "
