Printer

Under Redhat, you can use printtool to select your printer and to print a test page.

Miscellaneous

For Redhat, type control-panel.

A more general tool is linuxconf. I don't recommand using it because it make changes in many files so that it can affect changes you've made manually.

Sound card

Under Redhat, you can configure your audio card with
/usr/sbin/sndconfig
