Within our luggage 
Although the kit we need is a far cry from what would be needed
for a heavy expedition in the Himalayas, Antarctica or the Amazon,
nevertheless the amount of equipment needed is fairly significant:
- trekking bikes
- equipment: bags, map wallet, meter, pump, bottle, lights, spare
parts...
- tent, mattress and sleeping bag
- camping stove and pans
- sports clothing: cycling shorts, helmets, fleeces, Gore-Tex
trousers and
jacket, gloves, shoes...
- communication: portable phone and computer, or a combination
of both,
digital cameras (photo and video)
