(3 km away from Baybay on the road to Ormoc)

Facilities: Recreation facilities for swimming and beach sports, pick-nick cottages, swimming pool with cool water, souvenir gift shop.

The water of this swimming pool is reasonable cold coz the water is coming from the mountains. There are also nice cottages where you can eat the food that you have to buy  with the local people. You have to pay an entrance fee for entering this beach resort.

Cuatro Islands

(about 30' minutes with a pump boat ride from Baybay)

Cuatro islands

Cuatro Islands are four lovely isles namely, Digyo, Apid, Mahaba and Himokilan bordered by white sandy shore; surrounded by beautiful coral gardens, the best in Leyte island. A total of 287 species of reef building corals can be found in the islands waters; rich fishing ground. The "tatus" (coconut crab) is really delicious!

Kaupnit - Balinsasayaw National Park

A little know national park that includes 364 ha of cave habitat. Established in 1937 it's described as a "home for bats and swifts; caves with guano deposits." There is also a nice view on Leyte's highest peak. Panoramic and invigorating climate.
